Ace is
a Black Leopard who has significant personality. Ace shares his enclosure
with his female companion Shila, a spotted leopard. Ace, like most
leopards, loves to hang out in the highest spot of his enclosure. Most big
cats enjoy looking across the vast Texas landscape, getting a birds eye view
of all of their surroundings. Ace can be an aloof cat and doesn't care much
for people attention from most, but if you give him a chance he is an
amazingly loyal friend. He sometimes has arguments with Shila (like most
couples) when she tries to jump onto his platform, in which he will roar and
growl until she gets off! Ace has a lovely adoptive Mom who comes to visit
when she can to give him lots of affection and treats. Ace is easy to
differentiate from the other Black Leopards. He has a “snaggle-tooth” which
adds to entertaining personality.
