Lacy is one of the older cats at CARE. She has been with Heidi Berry, CARE Executive Director, since she was 9 days old. She has a fiery brilliant orange coat with a personality to match. She is selective about her friends, but once you are in her circle you will never leave. She periodically has spells, where she needs attention in the Sparks Veterinary Center. Her stays are full of chuffs (tiger purrs) and cry’s for attention. She is quite needy. Her trained caregivers are often stuck for hours rubbing her tender belly and holding her paw while she sleeps (through the special care enclosure), a job no one complains about. Please come and visit Lacy, she will steal your heart away and give you hers in its place.
