Spotty Species: Panthera Pardus - Spotted Leopard Sex: Male Born: 7.14.1996 Loving Adoptive Parent: Claude Maealiuaki - Keller, TX Loving Sponsor: Lisa Bollinger Spotty is a special Leopard to all of us at CARE. He unlike most Leopards is very gentle and calm. Spotty was born in Bridgeport years ago to a boarded couple, Kaylee the Spotted Leopard, and Midnight, a Black Leopard. Spotty was born on a hot 110 degree day. When he was found he was hardly alive and was stricken with severe dehydration. With intensive care and constant love he survived. As you can imagine, his close bond with people started at birth.
Spotty is an extremely loving male Spotted Leopard. Like all of his CARE
mates, he’ll do just about anything for a little chicken treat. Spotty
LOVES to have his belly rubbed and can often be found nibbling on the tall
grass on the edges of his home. Although he can be stubborn and coy when
he wants to be, he will always rush to the fence for some love. Spotty
lives with a female black leopard named Raven. Like many old couples they
get into their arguments at feeding and play time, but when the sun sets
and the temperatures drop, you will often see them cuddled together
sleeping peacefully in one house.
